Aryaman: (through the intercom) Come inside my cabin

(Within a minute, Naina was inside his cabin and he was just looking at her)

(After a moment, Naina cleared her throat to grab his attention back, in which she succeeded.)

Naina: Sir, you called me?

Aryaman: Ah, Yes. What is this? (He said pointing to a page kept in front of him)

(She began looking at the page and on recognising that the page was the same rough paper on when she inscribed the date 12 July, she panicked for a second, then regained her composure and said)

Naina: Sorry sir, I unintentionally wrote it here and I forgot to take out the rough page out from the file.

Aryaman: That doesn't matter. You wrote this date because you remember this day.

(Then she slightly turned her gaze away from him and said)

Naina: No sir, there's nothing like that. I don't remember it.

(She lied but Aryaman had enough of it, so he snapped at her)

Aryaman: Why Naina! Why? Just why? Why can't you tell me the actual reason for why you broke up with me and that too without any explanation? Can't you at least tell it to me now!?

Naina: I'm sorry sir but I don't think that we should talk about our personal lives. We are in the office and here you're my boss and I'm just your employee; your secretary and nothing else! Let's keep this Strictly Professional.

Aryaman: Stop it Naina (He said in low tone). I already know everything. I know the reason why you left me.

(On hearing him, she got shocked and bewildered)

Naina: W... what! What are you saying? What do you know?

(Aryaman then tells her about her words, everything that she confessed at that night.)

Naina: H...how? And when?

Aryaman: The day before yesterday, at the party. When everyone left, and only you and I were left there. You were too much drunk and couldn't even stand up yourself. I thought, that may be as we were alone, we could discuss our relationship, if you would open it up at that time. So, when I asked you about the reason then and there, you confessed everything.

(A pause, then he continued)

Aryaman: You told me the reason and I'm... very much guilty about that, that you left and sacrificed our relationship and your love just so that I could be successful in my life. On hearing how much so were in pain after our separation, it hurt me so much. I'm very guilty about it. I'm sorry Naina.

Naina: N...no, please don't say sorry. That was not your fault. It was mine. I should have conveyed my concern to you and we could have communicated and tackled with the situation together, but instead I left you without telling the actual reason behind it. I regret doing this to you daily. I'm really sorry, Aryaman.

Aryaman: Its ok Naina. It's not your fault. I should have trusted you, that whatever you did, would be for our benefit only. I'm sorry for not trusting you and for treating you like a stranger in the office. I'm sorry. I couldn't forget you and I still love you so much.

Naina: I also love you, Aryaman. I haven't stopped loving you even for a single day. I tried telling you the reason for my actions in the past since the time I saw you in this office, but I couldn't, thinking that you probably hate me now.

Aryaman: N... no Naina, No. I could never hate you.

(He hugged her and she hugged him back)

Aryaman: Let's get back together Naina. We still have a chance to be with each other.

Naina: I... I cannot agree to this now. I... I need sometime.

(He nodded)

Aryaman: No problem. Take as much time as you want.

(She nodded and then went inside her cabin, thinking of everything that had happened between them, all of her actions in the past and her current boss-employee relationship between them.)

(She then thought that the reason for their breakup was for him to become successful in his life, which he is now and she is so proud of him. So, she decided that she should get back together with the love of her life aka Aryaman Malhotra. Also, soon she will be taking over her father's company. Thinking that everything is settled in their life now, she mentally agreed to get back with him.)

(So, she finally entered in his office, without his permission this time, went up to him and pecked on his cheek. He looked at her, smiling widely, understanding that she agreed to be with him this time.)

Naina: Let's get back together.

(As soon as he listened to this, he nodded happily and his eyes shone bright with unshed tears, tears of love for her.)

(Being overwhelmed with lot of emotions, he said to her)

Aryaman: I love you so much Naina. I missed you so much, craved for your love and companionship so much.

Naina: I love you too Arya. And I missed you more than you missed me.

(Then Naina said, with teasing tone)

Naina: Also, you became more Handsome than ever.

(On hearing it, Aryaman smiled, relaxed more than ever in the past two years. Then he slightly leaned towards her and asked)

Aryaman: May I? (Indicating that he wanted to kiss her)

(She nodded and he kissed her, which tasted like pain of separation, redemption of mistakes, forgiveness of the past and promise for their future, into one kiss.)

(A few tears escaped his eyes and Naina was also shedding tears silently while kissing)

(They then separated the kiss and Naina giggled, making Aryaman smile)

Aryaman: We are back together

Naina: We are (She said while nodding and smiling)

(Then he kissed on her forehead and they engulfed each other in their warmth of love once again, now with no intention to depart, but full trust to stay happily in love with each other).

And they lived happily ever after... ❤️
