Naina's Mom: Y/n! Are you ready yet? Today you have an interview but you are still in the home. You'll get late. Be quick!

Naina: Yes mom, I'm coming. You know, I applied for job in 5 companies who were offering the job but only 1 company offered me the chance for interview. I definitely cannot afford to lose this opportunity or else I'll have to wait for 1 year for another opportunity in this industry.

Naina's Mom: Hurry up then! Here, eat your breakfast.

(Then Naina ate the breakfast and before she could leave for the interview, her mother fed her Dahi cheeni (sweet curd) for good luck)

Time skip

(Naina reached at the company on time and sat in the waiting area for her turn for the interview. She was the last person for the interview.)

Receptionist: Miss Naina, it's your turn for the interview now. Please follow me.

(Naina nodded her head and kept following the receptionist until she stopped outside the CEO's cabin, where the interview was going to be held. Then the receptionist went back to her seat and Naina after taking a deep breath, relaxed herself and knocked on the door.)

CEO Aryaman: Come in...

(Naina entered and almost without seeing the face of the person in front of her, she bowed respectfully and greeted)

Naina: Good morning, sir

Aryaman: Good morning. Please sit down.

(And then just as Naina lifted her head, her eyes met with the person in front of her and all the memories came rushing back in her mind, but she forced them aside as she said)

Naina: Aryaman?

Aryaman: Oh! The last person I have expected to see here, came for? Interview? For being my personal secretary?

Aryaman: Do you think I will even conduct this interview with you as a candidate? No, never.

Naina: Aryaman, please listen to me for once...

Aryaman: Stop right there.

Naina: Please just once...

Aryaman: I said stop!

Naina: Please I request you, take my interview. I need this job.

Aryaman: Why? Why would I acknowledge you as a candidate? Why should I give you a chance? Will it be worth it? How can you guarantee that this time you'll not repeat what you did last time?

Naina: Please, just give me a chance. I will prove myself worthy of your trust. Please.

(After a moment)

Aryaman: Okay sit

Naina: Thank you. Here is my file.

Aryaman: Your profile is good. Do you have any experience of being a personal secretary before?

Naina: No, but I am willing to learn, if you guide.

Aryaman: Okay. You're hired.

Naina: What! I mean thank you, thank you so much Aryaman.

Aryaman: Sir! Address me as sir here. I'm not your boyfriend.

(Naina's heart pained after hearing those words but she said nothing about them)

Naina: I am sorry about it.

Aryaman: Hmm, you can join the office from tomorrow at sharp 9 a.m.

Naina: Ok sir. Thank you once again. I'll take my leave now.

(Aryaman nodded and Naina exited his cabin.)

Time Skip, At Naina's Home

Naina: Mom! Dad! I got the job! In Malhotra Enterprises as the CEO's secretary.

Naina's Parents: Great dear! Congratulations ✨️
